The Declaration of Unity

This is the first and only time the word “unite” shows up in your King James Bible. David’s desire is that his heart would be united to the heart of God by fearing his name, JEHOVAH (83:18).

Our desire should be like that of David for salvation and for fellowship. We are united to God under the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by the Spirit of God, so that we too can make this three point declaration of “I will…”

1. I will walk in thy truth (3 John 1:3-4)

2. I will praise thee (Hebrews 13:15)

3. I will glorify thy name (1 Corinthians 10:31)
