Do You Hate Life?

May God help us from staying in this thought process! If we are to be honest, many if not all get to this place at one point or more in our lifetime. Even the best men of God at times battle this when their spirit is overwhelmed and vexed by vain thoughts.

These are thoughts, that if not repented of quickly, will lead you down a path of “despair,” depression, and depravity.

Without the Holy Spirit of Comfort, the comfort of the scriptures, the comfort and prayers of the brethren, and the comfort of the coming of the Lord at the rapture, one could argue that there is nothing to live for. But Paul tells us that we are not to live for ourselves but for Christ who loved us and gave himself for us. The life that we live is not ours to live, but it’s for Christ who lives within us that we might be able to comfort others who are in this current state of mind.

May God use us to be a blessing and a friend to someone today before it’s too late!
