Faithfulness in Perilous Times
If there is a quality that God is “looking” for out of his children during the “perilous times” of the church age, it’s faithfulness.
To be faithful is to fear the Lord, and “Happy is the man that feareth alway…” Faithful to “confess”, faithful to “forsake”, faithful to “hate covetousness”, faithful to “walk uprightly”, faithful to “till the land”, etc. Just be faithful in whatever the Spirit has led you to believe in sincerity and truth and whatever job, role, or ministry he has called and put you into.
Proverbs 20:6 asks the question, “…a faithful man who can find?” May we desire and strive to be like Hananiah , who was “a faithful man and feared God above many.” (Nehemiah 7:2) So, that when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ the Lord might say to us “well done, thou good and faithful servant…”
