Being In The Way

Praise the LORD for “his mercy and his truth” to lead us “in the way” we should go!

Jesus Christ IS “the way, the truth, and the life.” There is no better person to lead the Christian in the right way than Jesus Christ through his Spirit and the Scriptures.

Bob Jones Sr. said, “The right road alway leads out at the right place.” For the servant of the God of Abraham his master, the road “led” him “to the house” of his “master’s brethren.”

The spiritual application for the Christian is, when we walk with the Lord by faith, in the light of his word, he will lead us to house of his brethren for worship, for testimony, and for praise of the great things God has done.

The whole journey of Eliezer, the servant of Abraham, began when he prayed from the heart (vs. 45) that God would make his way prosperous. The Christian walk is one of faith, believing that God is able, not turning “from it to the right hand or to the left” (Josh. 1:7-9), and patiently waiting for God to make the way prosperous doing exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Eph. 3:20).
